Danny Hobbs-Awoyemi Joins the Reusefully Pack

Danny Hobbs-Awoyemi, who has a successful professional rugby career for teams including Northampton Saints and London Irish, is the latest recruit to join Reusefully’s growing team of circular economy specialists.


During his playing career, Danny was involved in playing, training, analysing team performance and developing scrummaging strategy! His duties for Reusefully will include supporting pre-demolition audits, including site surveys, and helping to develop the company’s capabilities in the 3D scanning of buildings and interiors.


He also has previous experience of running a logistics business, where he was instrumental in transforming the administrative and sales side of the business. Danny will be bringing the communication and team building skills developed in both logistics and the sports arena for the benefit of Reusefully’s clients and projects.

The Alliance for Sustainable Building Products (ASBP) held its second Reuse Summit at the Building Centre, London on 14th November. The Summit is part of ASBP’s targeted effort to champion circular economy throu gh its Reuse Now campa ign which is supported by Reusefully. This initiative promotes the reuse of construction materials and aims to enable uptake of reuse through collaboration and the creation of practical resources. An Innovate UK-funded research project is aiming to create an ambitious new platform to enhance circular economy in buildings. BuildAudIt is a one year collaborative programme that will develop a proof-of-concept platform for AI-enabled ‘digital twins’ of existing buildings – enhancing the circularity potential of the existing building stock by digitising them as ‘material inventories’.
